Recently a peek at this mod tablescape was seen in Exquisite Weddings Magazine.  We wanted however to share a full look here… Aleah and Nick from Valley and Co. visioned this Mod Botanical scene… Stationery was a combination of kraft, blue and white linen stocks… Botanical inspired pattern  flocked with white brushstrokes spoke of Momental’s more reserved side. Hand painted book table numbers and that soft gold flatware!! The Grand del Mar resort epitomizes old world elegance with the flair of eclectic personality.    With this impressive location as our backdrop we chose a lush palette of whispery whites to conjure a scene of full of contrasts.  Georgia O’Keeffe paintings inspire lush textures and lavish moods…  Old meets new with a distinctly modern twist…. Last fall the lovely ladies of Eve Events got in touch to involve me in what turned out to be an incredible experience.  They explained that the editors of The Knot were crafting an inspiration story around the beauty of a Monique Lhuillier gown.  All details from china to linens and stationery were to be inspired by the The Field of Dreams Collection as described here by Monique herself: “Butterflies, branches, twigs, wheat stalks and feathers all delicately woven into the collection.  Lots of texture created with organza, tulle, floral embroideries appliqued onto sheer corsets with whimsical skirts…Romance is back!!” […]
