It may be 30 degrees and night here in Pennsylvania and my Dahlia garden might just be sprouting the last of its gorgeous blooms BUT I refuse to admit that summer is on her way out.  What makes us feel more like summer than practically anything else…flowers!  I had a look back into our archives today from summer projects and found a few of my favorites. I don’t try to  hide my love of flowers.  You can spend a mere 5 minutes on this site and know that every curve and texture of the bloom inspires me.  So I do love this time of year when our spring and summer couples are indulging in all things floral.  We’ve spent years perfecting our hand painted wedding invitation technique and over the last few weeks we have really stretched ourselves creatively.  A mix of thick, opaque inks, sheer watercolor and juicy shimmer washes are just some examples of our newest experiments in paint.
