Art in the Skye

We think it’s safe to say that Kristy’s recent shoot on the Isle of Skye was a huge success… {Even a quick look at all the amazing details are enough to see how the design and stationery was inspired by the moody green backdrop of Skye} Two custom statement invite suites offer different interpretations of the location. The first is a whimsical painted box full of found woodland treasures, and a soft watercolor landscape detail. The second gives a textural, hand-sculpted suggestion of the landscape, and features free-flowing ink patterning, and distressed silver foil. Both invites capture the ever-changing atmosphere […]

Painterly Prose Andrew Wyeth Quote

Happy Friday once again! We are so happy to feature a quote from Kristy’s newest book “The Painter’s Wedding”!  The calligraphy is by Sarah at Flourish Grace! Andrew Wyeth’s work was the inspiration for a chapter of the book.

Painterly Prose with Custom Calligraphy

It’s finally, spring, so here are some of Kristy’s soft florals for you all! Lovely script by one of our preferred calligraphers, Sarah of Flourish Grace, once again. Have a great weekend, and enjoy the spring sunshine!

More gold foil on the menus pops against a black background. {There’s some amazing contrast in the color palette: rich oranges, corals, and peaches set […]

Black and Rose Gold Glam New Year's Eve Wedding Invitations

We may have finally outdone ourselves with these black and rose gold glam New Year’s Eve Wedding Invitations. The bride’s vision was very clear from the beginning: all black, and all stunning. So that’s what we did! We incorporated every black texture we could find… glitter cardstock, mirror-finish cardstock, and velvet ribbon. {And since it was a New Year’s Eve wedding, you have to have some sparkle and glitter.  Rose gold foil, glitter cardstock, shiny black rhinestones, and shimmery spatter were just the right accents. } For us, the star of the show is the hand painted peonies on the […]
