I took a little break from blogging while away at Engage!11 in San Diego last week.  I’ve missed sharing all the fun at the studio and cannot wait to get caught up this week!  First up is a delicious watercolor painting I created for Keaton.  She wanted a look that was vibrant and saturated with gorgeous fall color.  Sunflowers, Dahlias and Delphinium combined shades or burnt orange, blue and golden yellow to create warmth, drama and texture.  Her late summer wedding invitations could just as easily speak of a warm early fall or late October wedding. Today I have a bright and colorful wedding invitation to share for Gayaneh and Erik’s wedding in July.  She wanted bold florals but with a distinctly unique twist.  We chose the aloe bloom in fantasy shades of fuchsia and orange.  Painted in detail with sheer shimmer accents the blooms were full of sheen and life! Gayaneh also asked me to create a creative Armenian monogram representing their first initials.  How fun!  A sweet Portable Pocket from Envelopments was the finishing detail  all tied up with natural raffia. Yesterday I shared a Behind the Scenes look at our Grand Cayman Inspiration shoot.  We’re all about the color and texture here, drawing on the juicy hue of the blood orange and the lush texture and grace of our Big Bloom watercolor illustration.  Today I’m diving deeper into the Tropical Wedding Invitation suite created.  Our stunning model and breezy gown perfect for beach side nuptials deserve some attention too.
