Handmade custom invitations & stationery

The story of this project started three years ago…which seems to me like forever ago.  I decided to orchestrate my very first inspiration shoot.  A carefully chosen team and venue later, we were in full swing carefully crafting the artful table you may have seen on the What Junebug Loves blog yesterday.    There are a few reasons why I’ve waited this long to share the shoot, the only important one being I wanted this project to have a perfect home.  It finally does. Three years ago, art and watercolor textures were just beginning to become wedding decor detail.  In 2009, […]

When I have the chance to work with Cortnie from Canvas and Canopy and Carissa from JL Designs, I know good things are coming.  Leila from Be Inspired PR orchestrated a dinner party for some of her blogger friends.  Meaning to treat these ladies to a night a expertly crafted food and perfectly paired wine, she gathered the best team for the job.  Beyond the food and spirits, the innovative decor wowed us all.  Cortnie and Carissa are known for their uncanny ability to define new trends and this Wine and Dine evening did just that.  So what’s next for […]

Back again with more from our glitzy and glam Holiday celebration!  In yesterday’s post, I got a bit mushy about my team but today I’m getting passionate about the paper!!  Color was electrified by the moody lighting and glimmery, glittery, sequin filled space. La Tavola’s […]

Another look today at the custom menus, place cards and table number cards created for the La Tavola Linen Grand Opening in Newport Beach, CA!  We adore this black, white and pink combination and especially dig the lacquered succulents.  An iconic gerbera daisy was the artwork centerpiece here along with Envelopments black and white paisley cardstock… The floral design drove the drama of this table with its fluffy green hydrangea, creamy ivory roses and purple ranunculus.  Our vintage garden artwork seemed the perfect fit on dusty purple cardstock with creamy ivory hand painting… My friends at La Tavola Linen are […]

In my spare time (wink, wink) I love to work with industry friends.  La Tavola Linen is a company I admire and use often.  Their palette of custom linens can add flavor and life to any event and the fact they ship nationwide means anyone can enjoy the selection.  Recently a new showroom opened in Newport Beach, California and I was brought in to craft a few stationery pieces for their displays.  The best part of these projects is that I get to “play” with the prettiest linen swatches ever! Our lavishly painted peony on champagne stock with La Tavola’s […]
