We worked with Dani’s Mom to create an invitation suite to suit this very eclectic and style minded couple.    As the owner of Flock in Boston, a clothing boutique full of personality, Dan and her Mom knew just how to express themselves on this sweet VW Bus inspired Wedding Invitation!  It’s pretty obvious where the invitation inspiration grew from especially after seeing this incredible engagement session shot by Jose Villa. We sketched their beloved VW Bus, two pups and Riverside Barn in Pittsfield, Vermont.  Custom artwork combined with our Signature Vintage Lacy Trees brought this suite full circle.  The cheeky […]

I know when the following two things happen my world is about to get so much more interesting: 1.  I get the chance to work with Cortnie from Canvas and Canopy Events 2.  She uses the words “Ghostly, shipwrecked, ethereal, romantic, glam” to describe the project’s aesthetic.  Yes, indeed.  My team and I were lucky enough to be part of Cortnie and Donny’s dream wedding design team and the fruits of this labor were recently seen first in BRIDES Magazine, then on 100 Layer Cake and Green Wedding Shoes!  So I’m excited to finally share more about the amazing painted […]

Some of this world’s most admired artists were masters at suggestion…Van Gogh didn’t need to paint every Starry Star […]

If you missed part I of my Behind the Scenes on our Arabian Days project for Rue Magazine, then head here!  Today I am excited to share some never before seen shots by the one and only (yes, cheesy I know, but true) Jose Villa.  Jose has a way. That should be his tagline, not that he needs one, but if he did, that could be it.  He just has a way. A way to capture a fleeting second in time with more beauty and grace than most.  A way to take a small texture or perfect petal and transform […]

Happy to report we are up and running here at the Momental Studio, aka, the power is back!  I spent part of my morning watching national news of the devastation in parts of New Jersey, Vermont and beyond.  I cannot help but feel lucky as so many are suffering so much.  Our small blip in electricity seems miniscule.   Just the same, thank you to everyone for being so kind and patient for the past few days! As promised I am thrilled to share a special project with you.  One that, when I look at each image I am transported […]
