Whenver Constance Curtis gets in touch with a new couple I know we’re in for a treat! This time around the couple was planning an eclectic California wedding filled with not only thoughtful but decidedly eclectic details.  The standout was this incredible ceremony design centered around a dramatic tree with hanging floral elements.  Aaron Young captured this shot below, one of my favorites. Carissa of JL Designs is always innovating.  These hanging pots tucked with sprigs of greens and blooms created quite the whimsical backdrop. A lounge area crafted with pieces from Found Rentals seems quite enticing…I so want to […]

When I have the chance to work with Cortnie from Canvas and Canopy and Carissa from JL Designs, I know good things are coming.  Leila from Be Inspired PR orchestrated a dinner party for some of her blogger friends.  Meaning to treat these ladies to a night a expertly crafted food and perfectly paired wine, she gathered the best team for the job.  Beyond the food and spirits, the innovative decor wowed us all.  Cortnie and Carissa are known for their uncanny ability to define new trends and this Wine and Dine evening did just that.  So what’s next for […]

Been dying to share some never before seen shots of this Seaside Wedding Shower recently featured in C Magazine!  Leila of Be Inspired PR produced the entire event and chose a team to collaborate  for Nati, the lovely bride. You may have followed my cryptic tweets and update a month or so ago about a top secret project I had the honor of being a part.  Finally, I am able to share some behind the scenes details from the “California Luxe” shoot recently featured on Martha Stewart’s The Bride’s Guide!!  Working with  Jose Villa and having that work featured under the powerhouse wedding name of Martha Stewart is for a Momental Girl very much like well, unlike any experience I could have imagined in my career to date.  The shoot was assembled by the lovely Leila and Cortnie.  A […]

When I received the call to chime in as a color expert for The Knot, I certainly felt honored and got right to work on ideas.  I shared thoughts on using vibrant shades with balance, avoiding overly iconic or trendy combinations, adding texture to color palettes for interest.  I also lent advice on the importance of pairing bold with subtle colors for visual rest.  Carissa from JL Designs joined me in this article to lend her wisdom on color as well.  A huge thank to The Knot for including our ideas and Brides be sure to read on! Thank you, […]
