Handmade custom invitations & stationery

I’ve been dying to share this real wedding with you! Tara and our team worked together for nearly a year to create stationery of all kinds from save the dates to getaway signs!! More on that soon, I promise, but first I wanted to start with these killer bridal portraits by Daniel Lanton.  Tara is a stunning girl and made a breathtaking bride.  Orchids and bamboo were integral to the look and this exotic sensibility could be seen in all facets from favors to fresh florals. Love this edgy little detail…Tara brought in an artist to embellish her tattoo day […]

Today I have a bright and colorful wedding invitation to share for Gayaneh and Erik’s wedding in July.  She wanted bold florals but with a distinctly unique twist.  We chose the aloe bloom in fantasy shades of fuchsia and orange.  Painted in detail with sheer shimmer accents the blooms were full of sheen and life! Gayaneh also asked me to create a creative Armenian monogram representing their first initials.  How fun!  A sweet Portable Pocket from Envelopments was the finishing detail  all tied up with natural raffia. Thanks so much Gayaneh for the opportunity to collaborate on this project! So […]

Part I of Elizabeth and Isaac’s wedding focused on the glorious location and fickle weather that led to some gorgeous lighting for their day.  Today’s post is all about the painted paper goodies we created and the flowers…of course!  Elizabeth is no doubt a flower type of girl and our classic Big Bloom peony caught her eye from day one.  Making an appearance first on the invitation, the peony was painted again and again on each table number. The couple’s Rottweiler puppy found himself lounging playfully on each favor tag.  The sweet little illustration infused a lot of personality but […]

I figured we could all use a dose of spring right about now.  Elizabeth and Isaac’s wedding under the live oaks seemed the perfect fit.  I worked with Elizabeth and her Mom for several months to create various stationery elements for the day.  When Elizabeth’s photographer sent over the images I was immediately enchanted with all the dreaminess.  From the bride riding horseback into the ceremony to the swaying live oaks and simple blooms throughout, one could get lost in the beauty.  Not overdone or in your face, the details in this wedding were carefully chosen to suggest simplicity in […]

My Best Friend’s Wedding plans are back in full force and so are my posts to keep you caught up on all the planning adventures!  Recently Amy’s save the dates left the studio in all their rich, colorful glory.  You might remember that her Eastern Shore wedding is inspired by Classics of Literature like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.  The color palette draws from Amy’s unabashed obsession with vibrant hues and adventurous palettes while the whimsical spirit of the celebration began with Stephen’s crafty proposal at a Florida Aquarium! Since Amy and Stephen’s story is so sweet, it deserved to […]
