Lovely chat with Maricelle today has me literally giddy about design.  Mexican Talavera Pottery is at the heart of what makes Maricelle visual tastebuds tick!  Whimsical pattern in vibrant earth tones mix with watercolor-esque glazing techniques to create an iconic look that is so very recognizable.  I’ll be creating a Momental  interpretation of Talavera paired with bountiful roses and white Cattleya orchids! credits via Pinterest

Flipping through the most recent issue of Lucky Magazine, this beauty caught my eye.  Reading on I learned more about what Lisa Salzar of Lulu Frost named her 100 Years Collection, where baubles in each necklace represent finds from 1860-1960.  Seen below are elements of French Enamel, Art Deco and Czech Glass.   The Czech glass seen below was often mistaken for precious gemstones.  We love the vintage dress clips seen below left that took a day dress right into the evening! Every year I spend a week in Sea Isle City, New Jersey with a group I like to call my beach family.  Summers since the age of six have led me to shores of Sea Isle and I look forward to many more.  In honor of my seaside trek I wanted to share some of my favorite ocean inspired creations.  So check in often this week for a bit of sand and sunshine!
