A Momental Girl foodie gets married, so what do I do?  Throw her an un-shower, wedding shower in the middle of a warehouse….Jess wasn’t your typical bride, but who is a typical bride these days anyway?  I guess what I mean to say is that Jess wouldn’t go for anything pink, girly, lacy or sweet.  She is rough around her creative edges, insatiably spontaneous and a fellow artist.  I had to dig deep into what I knew a wedding shower to be and then attempt to turn that thinking completely upside down. It all began with this pattern, one of […]

It’s 10:30 on Friday night as I write this after spending two days preparing for Jess and Brad’s wedding, nearly falling asleep at the keyboard, from the most delicious type of exhaustion there is.  In just 9 short hours, we will be at it again bringing all the last minute details together, so I’ll keep it short.  Good things are happening tomorrow, and I’m proud to be part of it all. Just about two years ago, Jess came to the studio for an invitation artist interview.  She lugged in random messy oil paintings, day of the dead sculptures and exquisite […]

Back today with more from my best friend’s wedding shower seen in Bridal Guide Magazine!  There were so many personal touches that turned into moments I will never forget.  From the gold squirrels on each menu to the caricature artist capturing me and Amy’s favorite phrase “Ocean Now”, it was a day that I cherish… Guests were seated at a long banquet style table lined with round balloons and White Anemone floral arrangements.  Pieces from my own collection were added to give the table a bit more personality. To honor the many street artists we enjoyed in Paris, I hired […]

I wrote this post, what seems like forever ago when knee deep in plans for my best friend’s wedding shower last year.  Here we are exactly 1 year later and I’m over the moon to share the whole party as seen in the newest issue of Bridal Guide Magazine, on newsstands today!! Cover This snapshot taken in front of Notre Dame de Paris inspired the entire celebration.  We were young, full of energy and had the world at our feet.    I wanted to recreate the passion and life we felt that day standing in Paris as two feisty teenagers […]

So I have quite possibly the sweetest shoot to share with you today.  In addition to the adorable couple and finest of vintage styling, this shoot is even more dear to me because of the team who collaborated.  Danielle Pasternak is a planner here in my hometown and is making a name for herself far beyond Pennsylvania state lines.  This shoot, her entry for a contest to earn a scholarship to Backstage Bridal Pro in California, proves that Danielle has quite a vision for herself. Could this be any sweeter? For the stationery I went a smidge modern with ellipses, […]
