We are off and running with 2011 projects and this week has already been full of some stunning painted paper goodies.  First up is Rachel bold and red Hibiscus bloom painted with sheer shimmer inks.  Papers choices included a lovely linen textured palm leaf pattern and a shimmery brick red cardstock.  The celebrations is unfolding at Zephyr Palace, Villa Caletas in Puerto Rico.   Rachel and Spencer’s artwork tag features a stunning view of the ceremony site with the serene waters as a backdrops.  Guests should be instantly enchanted by the scene, I know we were while painting the original! Oh how I love this invitation suite.  Several months ago I purchased some laces, just to play and here we are.  My “playing” often leads to a stationery project that I may never have dreamed could work but for Christina, it certainly did.  The two varieties of lace acted as a closure along with the silvery satin ribbon tie.  I love the delicate design of the lace contrasted by it sumptious, cottony texture – lovely!
