“She’s a good girl and he’s a genuinely good guy who loves her so much…”   These words, from Carolynne and Mark’s photographer describe this sweet couple perfectly.  I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to share this wedding.  A humid day in Pennsylvania where the air is thick with late summer seems in need of  a little light and fresh…these wedding images from Paula O’Hara, are just what we need today. From the Bride: What was your inspiration or your colors and/or theme? I wanted my overall wedding to be elegant, soft & romantic. With a slightly modern take […]

Sharing this wedding was a long time coming, but hopefully worth the wait.  Elizabeth Messina is an icon in our industry.  One who has the gift and magic of capturing light through her lens.  She seizes time and crystallizes heartfelt moments with a click and the charm of her gifted eye for composition.  When our bride Veronica mentioned she splurged on photography, I knew we were all in for something incredible. Featured in the premier issue of the London based, Reverie Magazine, Veronica and Evan’s celebration was brimming with carefully curated details.  Possibly my favorite of the day were the […]

Because this one day […]

Earlier this week I shared Lauren and Maarten’s wedding images as seen in the Fall/Winter The Knot, Ohio issue!  Today I am bringing you images not seen in the magazine and more on the hand painted wedding invitations!  Lauren’s wedding was highly inspired by her Watters gown. A stunning closeup of this classic bouquet in shades of white and the softest of pinks.  Envelopments coral, magnolia and ecru were used throughout. Awe-inspiring ceremony.  Love those baby blue walls! The ceremony space warms subtly with richer tones of gold and pink… How sweet! We drew a heavily petaled Camellia blooms for […]

Lauren and Maarten’s pretty in pink wedding was recently featured in The Knot, Ohio.  Planned by the lovely Kasey of Bliss Weddings and Events, this celebration went off without a hitch and in stunning style.  I interviewed Kasey to get the planner’s perspective: What was Lauren’s single most impactful design element in planning?  Why? The single most impactful design element in the planning would have to be Lauren’s gorgeous Watter’s dress.  She wanted something a little different, but romantic and soft.  The blooms on her dress were one of my most favorite elements of detail on the dress and we […]
