Joy has been a big, beautiful, powerful word for me over the last 10 months. A lot has happened. Life is ever surprising me. Perspectives are changing in my brain and what once mad me “happy” now seems to have disappeared into the abyss of my memory.

Happiness is conditional.
Joy meets us wherever we are and grows from a grateful heart. Joy isn’t dangled in front of us dependent on what we might get from someone. Joy just rests quietly on our shoulders waiting to be noticed.
