A Peek into the Studio – Black and Rose Gold Glam New Year’s Eve Wedding Invitations

We may have finally outdone ourselves with these black and rose gold glam New Year’s Eve Wedding Invitations.

The bride’s vision was very clear from the beginning: all black, and all stunning. So that’s what we did! We incorporated every black texture we could find… glitter cardstock, mirror-finish cardstock, and velvet ribbon.

{And since it was a New Year’s Eve wedding, you have to have some sparkle and glitter.  Rose gold foil, glitter cardstock, shiny black rhinestones, and shimmery spatter were just the right accents. }

For us, the star of the show is the hand painted peonies on the die-cut invitations and save the date envelope liners, but there are a lot of other subtle details, too.

Painted edges, an abstract cutout envelope liner, letterpressed outlines on the blooms, embossed foil for the couple’s names, and a fun RSVP card with moody watercolor effect are all really cool elements on their own. Put them together, and wow!

We didn’t even stop there… for Judy’s place cards, check out the little individual sculpted and painted blooms for each guest.
