Looking at this invitation, you can almost feel a warm Mediterranean breeze, with a hint of lemon. Carlena’s Watercolor Amalfi Wedding Invitations is personalized with fuchsia peonies, a hand-cut tag, and a custom map of the area to guide guests to each event of the weekend. Festive watercolor botanicals and lemons accent the Italian coastal scene. Kristy’s favorite watercolor pigment makes an appearance as well – Winsor and Newton’s Opera Rose is that luscious pink you see painted into each peony. We love the bright yellow and Opera Rose combination for sure. Daring but so worth the experiment in color! Saluti!

A custom designed crest by designsgirl added a touch of elegant structure to our pink peony Watercolor and Letterpress Wedding Invites. Sounds like a new Momental classic indeed! Alexandra chose to feature our watercolor blooms with layer upon layer of thick white and gold paint, best seen on the statement envelope liner. The enclosure cards were not ignored of course and received their own painting treatment as well.
Timeless Southern elegance comes in many settings, but we always love a beautiful plantation surrounded by moss-covered oak trees. Perhaps you’ll call a lake house your wedding’s home or a stately private mansion will only do. A flower framed pond can be just […]
We’ve created so many invites with the Watercolor and Letterpress combination, but each one takes a life of it own because of the unique nature of the materials. Letterpress on it’s own is an art form, and combined with free-flowing watercolor on luxurious cotton papers it really shines. The Haiku Mill’s lush green backdrop is transformed with a modern watercolor style, and accented with a few champagne highlights for a shimmering texture.
What a dramatic first impression when this watercolor wedding invitation is taken out of the envelope… the beautiful, old world Spanish style gates that open to reveal an airy watercolor landscape framed with bright fuchsia blooms. With a venue full of so much historic character, not much needed to be added to make these pieces shine. Lily chose letterpressed text in gray on soft, luxurious cotton cardstock, and accented with Momental touches of shimmer flair. Nothing else could have complimented the scene better. Watercolor and letterpress were meant to be together.
