Classic letterpress is enough to draw the eye on it’s own, which is why we love showcasing it with out artwork and painting. For Lindsey’s invitation, we just added simple and elegant painted edges, and some colorful watercolor enclosure cards. Together they make an understated, but stunning invitation suite. Incorporating the iconic oak trees of the South, this set combines a formal, classic style with a more whimsical map, inviting guests to discover Savannah. A simple envelope liner echoing the invitation completes the set. It’s always a pleasure to feature the work of @designsgirl, one of our favorite calligraphers! Her beautiful style has adorned so many of our pieces. An airy watercolor landscape seemed like a good fit for this flowing, open style. 

The talented Michele of Meant to Be Calligraphy   (@meanttobedc) has sent us a series of quotes she lettered for Danielle of Magnolia Bluebird, for her wedding. They are all gorgeous, and “love” themed. This short, simple ee cummings line seemed perfect for one of our watercolor woodland landscapes.
