Handmade custom invitations & stationery

painterly-prose

For our Painterly Prose post today, we have an example from Dionne Christiansen (@nibandpixel). This bold, flowing style works great for a watercolor fill effect, and just a simple wash to finish it off. It would be a great choice for one of our watercolor wedding invitations!

hand-painted-boxes

A hand painted,  tile and tropical inspired invite to a resort in Mexico… who wouldn’t want to receive this in the mail?  It even includes a gift for the celebration ahead. Combining our Talavera tile pattern, which you can also see here, with bold tropical leaves and rustic wood, these are truly unique watercolor invitations. But the final, crowning touch is the first impression: the hand painted botanicals on the lid of the wooden box. Each bold pattern is one of a kind, full of textural brushstrokes and fun colors. What better way to invite guests to a special destination […]

fall-wedding-stationery

We have another fun, colorful fall wedding invitation to share today…. customized with the couples’ venue and dogs. We love the autumn colors and rustic woodland vibe on every card. Even the response card and wedding timeline were custom illustrated to match each event. Textural letterpress printing and a shimmery gold border on the invitation add a little classic flare to the woodsy watercolor wedding stationery design. What would you add to make it uniquely your own?

custom-wedding-calligraphy

It’s always a pleasure to feature the work of @designsgirl, one of our favorite calligraphers! Her beautiful style has adorned so many of our pieces. An airy watercolor landscape seemed like a good fit for this flowing, open style.
