Handmade custom invitations & stationery
by Kristy Rice

Glittering gold foil, bright city lights, and hand painted fireworks light up the night sky in this impressionistic rehearsal dinner invitation. Hand painted textural dots and rhinestones give the stars dimension, above a subtle twinkling cityscape. We’ve been seeing many, many gorgeous rehearsal invitation concepts here in the studio lately, and this piece is no exception. What a fantastic use of foil printing too, it strikes a beautiful contrast against a dark background. Timeless Southern elegance comes in many settings, but we always love a beautiful plantation surrounded by moss-covered oak trees. We’ve illustrated many lovely venues, and today are sharing just a couple of our brides’ Watercolor Plantation Wedding Invites. Leafy pathways, open porches made for socializing, and easy charm give that Southern character distinguishable from just one breath of that sweet southern air. Let us illustrate your own special place and story with graceful watercolor and hand painted brushstrokes.  Perhaps you’ll call a lake house your wedding’s home or a stately private mansion will only do.  A flower framed pond can be just […]

letterpress-wedding-stationery

What a dramatic first impression when this watercolor wedding invitation is taken out of the envelope… the beautiful, old world Spanish style gates that open to reveal an airy watercolor landscape framed with bright fuchsia blooms. With a venue full of so much historic character, not much needed to be added to make these pieces shine. Lily chose letterpressed text in gray on soft, luxurious cotton cardstock, and accented with Momental touches of shimmer flair. Nothing else could have complimented the scene better. Watercolor and letterpress were meant to be together.

We’ve created many a myriad of takes on the traditional couples’ family crest, but none quite like this one. These Modern Crest Wedding Invitations were articulated in timeless white engraving on linen cardstock, gold foil with hand painted abstract florals. From the beginning, Wendy had clear ideas for the design and presentation of her stationery. Each one was nested in a custom made, hand painted wood crate, with a full silk bow and a lusciously painted ensemble folder. Organic, free-flowing calligraphy from Kelle McCarter defines the body of the design, crowned with a monogrammed crest incorporating the same floral pattern. {As an extra glint of glam, gold […]

bottle-save-the-date

Save the Dates are fun little glimpse of what’s to come, of the main invitation and at the event itself, and what better way to make a first impression? Collected here are some truly unique statement pieces with a variety of colors, textures, and printing processes. {At Momental we’re all about making an artful statement, one that begs the eye to look closer and longer…in the hopes of finding one more delicate detail not noticed before.} Look on, look longer and find a sweet moment or two you weren’t expecting…
