Behind the Scenes – Art Shoot at Biltmore Estate Makes Destination I Do Magazine Cover

I love days like today.  This post, although completely impromptu, comes with it an insane amount of anticipation.  Today a big box of magazine arrived and surprised us all!  Last September, my team and I traveled to Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina to make art.  Today I’m not planning to say much more…really just want to revel and celebrate all that came of one simple spark of an idea.  So incredibly humbled to have our styling and bouquet work on the cover along with the talents of Claire Pettibone, Wendy at Blush Asheville and Emily Anne Hair.

The Abbey Gown from Claire Pettibone

Claire Pettibone Gown at Biltmore EstateWe assembled vintage millinery elements like beaded berries, textured puffs, buttons, fabric flowers, hand painted paper blooms and ferns, all to create this eclectic wedding bouquet.  My favorite detail are the paper sweet peas spilling from the bouquet and trailing along the velvet ribbon lengths…
