Our bright fruit and floral pattern has appeared on many different stationery pieces but it truly shines here with colorful, thick brushstrokes. A simple patterned envelope liner of greens compliments the bright corals, pink, and fuchsias of the main invitation while a hand painted gold frame sets off elegant script text. Aside from the floral patterns, this set is accented by many different textures… thick hand torn edges on the invite and tag, paint that you can feel against heavy cotton paper, and raw silk ribbon. So much to experience!

These rustic floral wedding invitations have it all… blush and coral peony patterns, textured cardstocks, torn edges, a sweet puppy… all topped with a soft custom crest wreath. We love the variety in the usage of the blooms. Sketchy and fading on the envelope liner, lavishly painted on the ensemble folder, and delicately blossoming on the wreath monogram. The couple featured their pup and hiking boots on the information card to add a touch of personality to the garden wedding invitation theme. We have many, many kinds of peony invitations, including this lovely rustic example on wood found here. Without a doubt, […]
This week’s Painterly Prose features a sweet thought from Dionne Christiansen, in free flowing, whimsical script. A perfect match for our loose, sketchy blooms touched with vibrant watercolor. Who will you share your journey with today?
Looking at this invitation, you can almost feel a warm Mediterranean breeze, with a hint of lemon. Carlena’s Watercolor Amalfi Wedding Invitations is personalized with fuchsia peonies, a hand-cut tag, and a custom map of the area to guide guests to each event of the weekend. Festive watercolor botanicals and lemons accent the Italian coastal scene. Kristy’s favorite watercolor pigment makes an appearance as well – Winsor and Newton’s Opera Rose is that luscious pink you see painted into each peony. We love the bright yellow and Opera Rose combination for sure. Daring but so worth the experiment in color! Saluti!
A custom designed crest by designsgirl added a touch of elegant structure to our pink peony Watercolor and Letterpress Wedding Invites. Sounds like a new Momental classic indeed! Alexandra chose to feature our watercolor blooms with layer upon layer of thick white and gold paint, best seen on the statement envelope liner. The enclosure cards were not ignored of course and received their own painting treatment as well.
