An inspiring quote from Louisa May Alcott, with calligraphy by Flourish Grace this morning. Perhaps not the stormiest of scenes, but something nautical seemed appropriate. As always, Sarah’s sweet script brings life to whatever she’s written!

Looking at this invitation, you can almost feel a warm Mediterranean breeze, with a hint of lemon. Carlena’s Watercolor Amalfi Wedding Invitations  is personalized with fuchsia peonies, a hand-cut tag, and a custom map of the area to guide guests to each event of the weekend. Festive watercolor botanicals and lemons accent the  Italian coastal scene. Kristy’s favorite watercolor pigment makes an appearance as well – Winsor and Newton’s Opera Rose is that luscious pink you see painted into each peony.  We love the bright yellow and Opera Rose combination for sure.  Daring but so worth the experiment in color! Saluti!

Who doesn’t love whitewashed wood, gold foil, bright succulents, touches of lavender, and a sunny coastal setting? This rustic yet sophisticated set has it all… Aurora’s invitation set and day-of pieces reflect the airy skies, leafy forests, and bright sparkling light of Big Sur. Creamy white hand painted botanical details, shimmery painted gold contrasted with muted walnut wood for table numbers, and dramatic bark textured programs combine to make perfectly textured harmony. Celebrate under the open sky, with details of rustic elegance to make the day.

I come from a more is more kind of background – my childhood home was full of color, […]
