What a dramatic first impression when this watercolor wedding invitation is taken out of the envelope… the beautiful, old world Spanish style gates that open to reveal an airy watercolor landscape framed with bright fuchsia blooms. With a venue full of so much historic character, not much needed to be added to make these pieces shine. Lily chose letterpressed text in gray on soft, luxurious cotton cardstock, and accented with Momental touches of shimmer flair. Nothing else could have complimented the scene better. Watercolor and letterpress were meant to be together.

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I’ve been traveling…the world, quite literally these days.  This year has given an out pouring of imperfectly timed blessings.  From signing two book contracts, one of which I only had 5 weeks to complete and beginning the adoption process to traveling near and far for book #2 to being chosen by a dear Mama to parent her child, I certainly have my hands full of dear moments and full days. {To get caught up on the book and baby news…read here, then here, here, here, here and finally here…} In September we […]

Collected here are some truly unique statement pieces with a variety of colors, textures, and printing processes. {At Momental we’re all about making an artful statement, one that begs the eye to look closer and longer…in the hopes of finding one more delicate detail not noticed before.} Look on, look longer and find a sweet moment or two you weren’t expecting…

{Flowers are my heart and I don’t feel their tug on my spirit more than this time of year.} Our first home was in upstate New York…an old, 1940’s neighborhood with charming homes but not a lot of land for each owner’s plot.  I gardened to my heart’s content on this small 1/8 of an acre and tried my best to learn everything I could about flowers – how to grow, when and where to grown and so on. Now the Hubby and I live in Pennsylvania on a larger plot of land his parents gifted us.  We built our […]
