A Peek into the Studio – Hydrangeas, Peonies, Roses and Lily of the Valley Wedding Invitations

It may be 30 degrees and night here in Pennsylvania and my Dahlia garden might just be sprouting the last of its gorgeous blooms BUT I refuse to admit that summer is on her way out.  What makes us feel more like summer than practically anything else…flowers!  I had a look back into our archives today from summer projects and found a few of my favorites.

First up are Corne’s Romantic Garden Wedding Invitation suite featuring opaque and shimmer ink painted Blue Hydrangeas, White Lisianthus and Blush Ranunculus.

I love the mix of shimmering inks with thicker more opaque touches…

We’re all so in love with Amelia’s artistic take on an Architectural Inspired Wedding Invitation!  So simple and clean, the watercolor silhouette of iconic church spires makes such a big statement of personality!

Emily’s Baroque Wedding Invitation has us all still swooning a bit….yes, swooning – a word we don’t use lightly around here.  Long Leafed Seeded Eucalyptus, and Lily of the Valley are graceful and flowing as they intertwine with the gold painted Baroque Frame sketch.

Adrian’s Pink Rose Wedding Invitation is a mingling of some of our favorite details.  We combined shimmery cardstocks, custom illustrated patterns and Impressionistic Style Painting Technique.

Last up are Rebecca’s White Peony Wedding Invitations!  So lavishly painted white peonies, rich kraft cardstock and nude lace….oh what a combination!
