Handmade custom invitations & stationery

Jess is a DIY girl at heart.  From lace bunting to quirky signage built by the groom, this wedding will be full of hand crafted moments.  FiftyFlowers.com offered to help out a bit with Jess’s blooms as have I!  I tried my hand at floral design back in 2010 to celebrate the hubby and my 10 year renewal.  Mom and I plucked and pruned over 500 stems and now consider ourselves accomplished novices of the art.  So two Thursday’s from now, I will be knee deep in flowers, prepping all the flora for this Momental Girl’s Wedding!

I use the word, flowers…lightly.  Jess, as you know is none too traditional so  her palette is filled with more greens and branches than actual blooms.  Quirky Scabiosa mixed with Ruscus and Eucalptus will make a magical bouquet…Those Snowberries seem fun for a boutonniere, right?  Succulents, I’m sure, will be tucked into every nook, every cranny.

White Scabiosa, Italian Ruscus, Succulent Bouquet, Seeded Eucalyptus, White Snowberry

Want to get caught up with Jess’s planning adventure?  Start here, then read this, head here and then here.   See a bit from her shower and then meet her photographer.  If that all isn’t enough, read this fun story and check out these amazing shots!     Last but not least, a sneak peek of the invites!!

Very original idea… I liked the flowers above very much… also. the best thing in the world is when you do things by yourself specially if it was for your wedding, it makes things mean much more to you…
