A bit more from Mari and Anton’s wedding for you today… The vineyard dancing shots at dusk are among my favorites – the light is gorgeous! We brought the Fleur de Lis artwork into the seating cards and Mari chose corks as holders. The bride and groom Matryoshka (Russian Nesting Dolls) dolls are too fun… Thank you Mari for sharing and thank you for having such a lovely vision for your day!

Mari was one of the first clients to request a Fleur de Lis painting and let’s just say she started a trend, at least one here at the studio. Her vision was bold with splashes of color (bubbly pink and grassy green to be exact). As you will see from her stunning wedding day photography by Chloe Murdoch of Mike Larson Inc, Mari and Anton were all about having fun and that element of surprise. Whether artfully staged by the photographer or impromptu this is a shot to treasure and one that should make the mantel for sure! Want to see more from this wedding? Have you seen the new issue of Inside Weddings? I am thrilled to say our Painted Orchid invitation set was featured in the Summer issue. WOW what an honor! I was asked to create a green and fuchsia ensemble based on Tara’s design, hand-picked by the Editor herself…can you say, gulp (I did when the call came in from Leila)? I immediately contacted my friends at Envelopments® and they were gracious enough to create a custom Pocketfold® in one of their newest stocks – Raw Silk Gold Cabana! Within days I had 4 expertly crafted Pocketfolds® in my hands and […]
Last week I shared Part I of Melanie and Adam’s Real Wedding photographed by Regeti’s Photography. Now I am back with more loveliness! The bride is stunning here and so was her style. Classic elegance mingled with spirited color is a good way to describe the day. I absolutely love her veil shot below and of course those stunning centerpieces in urns of carved silver. Above is a shot of the program from my collection. The stylized peony ran along the folded edge with a unique satin slide as a closure. I am sure Adam will have this shot framed […]
