So happy you went back to the magnolia!
I would have such a difficult time deciding, we love them all!
I am sooo excited about your sample!! The color palette is rich and warm while still soft and natural!

This color scheme is stunning! It was a bit tricky to ensure the feather remained subtle however I enjoy the look even though the feather is large. The shimmering papers and hand-painted details keep the look elegant and refined but with loads of personality!

This is coming together beautifully!
I had such a blast with your samples. A new peony watercolor illustration was in order for sure! Here is a look at your original painting fresh off the painting table!
I layered together burgundy, a touch of fuchsia and gold paisley for a rich, sumptuous look! The Pocketfold is completely hand painted with stylized strokes reminiscent of the peony. I simple satin ribbon is thread through the flap for a highly custom look.
Gold hand painted details to include dots and freehand strokes, ah I love it!

This look is much softer I think in style but still bold and dramatic in color palette!
The rich colors and rich art-deco inspired artwork are quite striking and bold but when combined with classically elegant papers, appear more sophisticated somehow.
Oh I do love the color version! I will say that in person, the blue and green border really pops!

I changed the layout slightly to include more of the Versailles Swirls!
I love the addition of painted strokes of soft purple – so pretty!
Choosing between the two artwork options here would be a difficult decision for me! I love the simplicity and feminine quality of the save the date though – printed on soft lilac shimmer – so pretty!

And some more decisions… !
Decisions, Decisions!
We added more fullness with additional callas and hand-painted dots in sheer shimmer ink.
Elegant, graceful but full of personality!
I thought I would experiment with my calla illustration for you in addition the Swirl pattern – such fun!

The black ribbon tie is the perfect detail!
LOVE the new pattern!
I experimented with a limited palette of gold, crimson and black. I love the scroll work and suggestion of a feather in the bottom right corner. The pattern border adds interest overall and mimics the drawn scroll work nicely.
I love the richness and texture of this piece. The feathers are subtle but impactful.
