Tropical orchids abound in this colorful Hawaii wedding invitations. Strong fuchsia and white blooms create a dramatic frame for a cut-away view of a lush tropical island. Heavy white and gold hand painting is a fun contrast to the soft flowing watercolor oceanscape. With so much artwork, not much else is needed to get everyone excited for the event!

We love designing for an adventurous bride with a passion for travel. Capturing exotic locals in lush water color strokes, whimsical patterns and bold contrast… setting the stage for a jet-set affair. Weather the bride is traveling to the tropics for a ceremony with her feet in the sand or saying her “I do’s” in a historic London local, its all in the details. Today I’ve gathered some invites worthy of inspiring the wanderlust in us all! Anna’s invite, done in washes of Mediterranean blue with bursts of gold, took inspirations from the tile work of Italy. Here a softer […]

Today I am wrapping up a week of wedding invitation inspiration for the beachcomber in all of us. First up was a bold red hibiscus and next I shared a favorite Sculpted Bloom Invitation! The Bird of Paradise has become a long-loved symbol of all things tropical.  We’ve interpreted this bloom in countless designs but this one painted by Jessica, just sticks.  Juicy tones reminiscent of sunrise and sunset all at the same time.  What could be better? Hope you’ve enjoyed my vacay inspiring series. Now grab a lemonade and take a moment….Cheers!

I don’t know about you, but I could certainly use a little retreat.  Warm sun and breezes would be so…well you know, right about now.  So sit back, take a deep breath to get lost if only for a moment in these Tropical Inspired Wedding Invitations and save the dates.  I can almost hear the waves crashing… First are Seema’s bold and bright Watercolor Save the Dates honoring the majestic beauty of St. Lucia landscapes. Next are Rachel’s Bird of Paradise Wedding Invitations where burlap textures and abstract elements combine to create quite the impression! Each pouch was free hand […]

Yesterday I shared a look at Tara and Kristopher’s tropical affair.  Today I have more including the massive stationery collection designed for them!  Tara is a stationery junkie to say the least.  We spent hours thumbing through papers and experimenting with painting techniques.  Tara’s design even inspired this look seen in Inside Weddings, a favorite hand picked by the editor from our current project gallery at the time!  Tara’s paper story began with painted bamboo save the dates embellished with a sketch of her Chinese character tattoo meaning “mysterious”. Gold stocks,  a palm leaf pattern from Envelopments and a punchy […]
