A Peek into the Studio – Orchids, Hydrangeas and Sailboats
Our paper palette has been quite varied this week. Some of our favorites…..
Samantha’s orchid and peony bouquet has inspired so many couples lately with its contrast painting (light against dark) technique and richly patterned paisley papers.

Abby’s bouquet of peach hydrangeas, fluffy pink roses plus greens and branches epitomizes summer and makes me wish it were here! The blush cabbage rose pattern with its lovely texture has quickly become a favorite, especially paired with soft lilac!

Kristin’s adventurous collection includes sailboats, a compass and a low country shrimp boil. We adore the contrast painted pot against persimmon paper. Wow!

So what am I up to?
Pumped about this piece created for Style Unveiled all inspired by their painted lady logo.
So incredibly proud of the team this week who are all hard at work on this unique creation with over 275 painted ribbons and 11,000 hand painted dots!

Decisions, decisions!

The color palette you chose here is divine and the silver beads add the perfect touch!

The whole studio is abuzz because of your new design!

We limited the amount of leaf seen but left just enough to make the flower still read as a hydrangea. The new color palette is stunning!

This artwork is taking on such a lovely impressionistic look now!
We are so excited about the thick and sophisticated outer border. The pearl detailing throughout add the perfect touch!

The introduction of pattern is just perfect!

The studio is buzzing over this save the date design. The simplicity and modern layout is so striking!

The softer more romantic feel here is just lovely and really helps the hydrangea really pop!
Oh, did we have fun with your sample! The peach and lilac palette is quite alluring especially with the warmth of gold added! Kelley, is quite taken with your sample, hydrangeas are her favorite!

I had such fun with the Green Hydrangea watercolor painting! I combined the bloom with a very soft shimmering tan cardstock and and fresh grassy green as well.
Here is a look at the painting in it’s early stages – thought this would be fun for you to see!
