I intensified some of the petals to a more fuchsia color, seemed to work better with the more vibrant border choices.
I had such fun creating this new tree artwork, the thicker trunk is so dramatic! The watercolor leaf closure is really fun and lends a magical quality to opening the invitation. Perhaps a lighter green or even a purple leaf could be fun? Not shown in the photos is a bit of the lacy pattern in the bottom right corner to give the look more fullness.
A simple suggestion of the fairy wing peeking out from the tree trunk is seen above.
