We were honored to have our Holiday Ombre cards featured this week on Glitterguide.com yesterday!! This year I crafted our Christmas Party invitations from scrap paper remaining from a year of projects… Watercolor Holly and gold swooshes adorned each.  A large brush was used to paint envelope liners too… A handwritten greeting was scanned and printed to save time! The final look! Thanks again to Glitterguide.com for including my project!!

Lovely chat with Maricelle today has me literally giddy about design.  Mexican Talavera Pottery is at the heart of what makes Maricelle visual tastebuds tick!  Whimsical pattern in vibrant earth tones mix with watercolor-esque glazing techniques to create an iconic look that is so very recognizable.  I’ll be creating a Momental  interpretation of Talavera paired with bountiful roses and white Cattleya orchids! credits via Pinterest

When I first met Heather I instantly knew she was the  perfect client.  With a love for watercolors and a heart for travel, we had so much to draw from when sitting down to design for her wedding.  Heather’s celebration unfolded near the ocean so we created a suite of artwork to communicate their love ocean air and sandy travel.  First was an abstract ocean pattern meant to be free hand painted on wood blocks.
