It’s hard to believe My Best Friend’s Wedding was over two years ago!  Since then Amy and Stephen’s Vintage Riverboat wedding has graced the pages of Bridal Guide Magazine and the wedding blog, United with Love.  I’m so, so excited to finally share a full look into their colorful and spirited celebration. It all started with these message in a bottle invitations featuring a sketching of the riverboat on which Amy and Stephen would host their cocktail hour! Imagining a more appropriate ceremony site for these two would be hard…the bay-check, a cool, old, crooked tree – check…. Handmade, paper […]

It’s been a busy season here at the studio and way too long since the last Peek into the Studio! I love this time of year as we’re still creating suites for summer while wrapping up fall wedding invitations – the best of both worlds… First is Allyza’s eclectic wedding invitation combining watercolor sketches of a vineyard scene surrounded by late summer blooms like Lisianthus and Dahlias…The intensity of the Walnut veneer adds elegance and sophistication overall in an unexpected way. Allyza chose to wrap her Pocketfold with lace and a simple tag illustrating the wedding venue… Deanna’s suite combines […]

So when we had the chance to vision in paint and pretty for Claire’s runway show last fall you can imagine…just imagine…  We started with a few swatches of fabrics and a muted color palette.  I then developed a floral pattern […]

I’ve decided to take a little break this week from my blogging hiatus and for one very good reason.  My Best Friend’s Wedding made the pages of one of my favorites, Bridal Guide Magazine.  I was honored enough that they featured her Parisian Wedding Shower last year but when they picked up her wedding as a follow up story, I could hardly believe my luck!  Amy’s wedding was a joyous time not only for the Bride and her Groom but also for two best friends who live far from eachother and have been dreaming of this wedding since mine came […]

Last week I shared a peek at our Pastoral shoot for DWHM, then seen on Ruffled.  This week I’m excited to share all of the stationery goodness from the project! Our palette was filled with moody slate, blues, and taupe.  Letterpress printing took center stage against the textured stocks I chose for each of the four suites.  Artwork was inspired by Victorian embroidery alphabets where persnickety detail takes over and swooshes, swirls and leafy sketches reign.  Our imaginary couple was the namesake of Momental Girl Joy’s grandparents.  The first hand painted wedding invitation suite’s mix of red, slate blue and tan […]
