Here Kristy is working on a painting of a Marco Polo Lily. 

The finished painting is then reproduced as a backdrop for the invitation wording.  The detail photo shows how vellum is layered over the artwork and tied with a pink satin ribbon.

Watercolor and gouache were used here.  A "New Mexico" look was desired so the Prickly Pear Cactus was just perfect!.

The original painting is combined with specialty papers and your choice of fonts for an invitation that is a work of art itself!
