A Peek into the Studio – Floral Watercolor and Foil Wedding Invitations

{Something refreshing happens when watercolor is brought near the glimmer of foil.}

Your eye catches the sheer simplicity of the watercolor wash and then bounces to the drama of the foil and all at once you are mesmerized by the contrast of the two textures. The effect is difficult to put into words but is one your guests will not soon forget.

Ashlan worked alongside our design team to meticulously envision these stunning invitations for her guests.  From the graceful lines of her font to the layering of painted details, no moment of surprise and delight was left un-considered.

One detail I especially tend to swoon over are our hand torn, hand gilded edges.  Soft gold, shimmery brushstrokes are applied along the torn edge and when dry the shimmery pigments somehow seems to sparkle even more fully.

This Floral Watercolor and Foil Wedding Invitation suite is most definitely destined for the flower lover, but like I always say…If you have a bold idea, go all the way with it!!

{See the painting of these beauties in action!}
