I am so excited to share Part II of Denise and JJ’s wedding. Part II is all about the glorious color and texture their venue brought plus a little about Denise’s unique hand painted letterpress wedding invitations! Get a look at the quirky fuchsia chaise and those mod lantern/screen structures at each table. I love the contrast of shapes and finishes; organic verses structured and lush verses sleek…stunning. A touch of waxflower in the centerpieces is so unexpected! Quite possibly my favorite shot…the bubbles, the ferns, the texture, oh my! Denise chose our Vintage Lacy Tree Collection with dragonfly artwork […]

This version is much richer and dramatic! This look would been striking even without the flourishes in the bottom corners! I experimented with the Camilla illustration for this Pocketfold® style invitation. The border on this invite is a gold/black paisley for a bit of drama! The Sculpted Bloom is still a favorite especially with the gold tips and rhinestone center. So excited about your Sculpted Bloom invitation! I combined our Vintage Lacy pattern for a bit of pattern and texture. Several blossoms are painted in creamy white to really pop against the shimmering ivory cardstock. The sculpted bloom stamens are […]
The addition of turquoise is quite enchanting – vibrant but not over the top. I hope you don’t mind but I had one look at your inspiration photos and this concept came right to mind! The look is a combination of an dusty orange peony and our lacy leaves pattern. The gold and brown paisley cardstock really adds to the vintage feel.
Here at the Momental Studio we are all about experimentation, trying something new and just diving into projects to see where they take us! A while back the lovely Saakshi contacted us. She loved our lush style, patterns and sense of color. She wasn’t exactly sure what that meant in terms of a design for her wedding but was open to our advice and vision. We began with our classic rose illustrations combined with our newest lacy leaves pattern inside. Washes of pink watercolor against champagne cardstock and touches of bold painted flourishes throughout were a design element present from […]
Getting an email from Karen Tran about her next photo shoot project is always a thrill as it is guaranteed to be a exciting experience. Recently our newest Vintage Pattern, lacy leaves, was featured in this “Purple Reigns” shoot exclusively for Ceremony Magazine. The intricate, romantic quality of the pattern was a perfect contrast to the bold sequined, magenta loveliness Karen envisioned. Here is a look at some photos taken before the pieces left the studio. An invitation was created for the look, just in case, but not captured for the shoot. A tiny round rhinestone buckle adorned the top […]
