Last Friday was one of those days in the studio; a really good day filled with wet brushes and messiness that led to pretty. Just looking at this new pattern makes me smile, has Kelley wanting new personal stationery and made Jess yell just a bit…in excitement of course. If you know Jess, you know a scream in the studio is usually a good thing…. Isn’t it reassuring, in our technology driven lives, that the simple act of seeing color and shape can bring a bit of joy, inspiration or excitement? I think so. There is still something magical about putting brush to paper and letting the watercolor flow.
