We love working with international clients! Some of our best work has been shipped to clients in the United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, Canada, Greece, Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong  and beyond. Of course, there are some details that need to be considered when working with varying languages, international shipping and long distances. Below is some information to help you anticipate the process and clarify certain steps along the way.

Process

The custom design process remain the same – simple! We are happy to schedule an introductory phone meeting with you, just as we do with our US clients. We will need to know your time zone, so we can ensure that we are connecting at the appropriate hour (we are in eastern standard time).  However, if you prefer to use email correspondence exclusively, we can gladly accommodate.

Language

If you need us to print in a language besides English, not a problem! We can print stationery in pretty much any language. However, we are not able to assist in proofreading, so we ask that you email us your desired text as a Word document or PDF exactly as you wish it to appear. Please note line breaks, and ensure the text you provide is proofread by several people before sending to us.  We can also print in multiple languages if needed, we call this a split order (additional fees apply).

Shipping

We are very accustomed to the international shipping process and know exactly how to package, label and prepare your order for international delivery. Shipping costs can vary, as they are calculated on the weight, dimension, and destination of the package as well as the value of the contents.  Time in transit can also vary, but oftentimes we find international delivery options are just as timely as domestic packages. We will use UPS Global Express due to their competitive costs and reliable service.

Shipping costs will be collected by UPS directly. Payment will be due prior to delivery for any packages (welcome kits and final orders). Clients will be charged a $15.00 handling fee for packaging for their final order. Momental Designs does not have any control over shipping costs.

Import Fees

Momental Designs will not be responsible for any import/customs fees accessed by the receiving country.  We are not given any information regarding these fees as the shipper, so all import/customs fees are the responsibility of the receiver of the package.  UPS will not release the package until all fees have been paid in full.  Commercial invoices for the goods within the package are required to be included with the shipment.

We can’t wait to learn what part of the world our stationery will be heading!
