Guest Blogger – Bold Palm Springs Wedding Inspiration with Karen Tran

I’ve long admired the work of Karen Tran and am wowed every time I see something new from her masterful hands.  You may remember a few projects I’ve shared in the past? Collaborations with Karen are always filled with lavish, opulent details in artfully edited scenes.

Today Karen has brought us a very bold Palm Springs scene loaded with gorgeous Tangerine Tango color inspiration!  Enjoy!

What’s not to love about a Palm Springs wedding? Warm sun, hip mid-century decor, intoxicating orange groves, and of course the swanky Viceroy Palm Springs. The stark white walls of the Viceroy Suite were a perfect back drop for pops of orange, hints of black, chic white tulips, and a sleek upholstered table from Hire Elegance.

Kelly Weastler artfully designed this Hollywood Regency paradise with tons of unexpected glamour and bold colors. The Regency Lawn, surrounded by mountains, citrus, and palm trees, is an unbelievably posh place to exchange your ‘I do’s.’

Keeping true to their simple, yet statement-making colors, we decided to deck out their Regency Lawn in black, white, and orange. Rose petals were color blocked in perfect squares down the aisle.

Lucite boxes, trimmed with a retro geometric print, were packed with fluffy white hydrangea and roses.

Tailored white topiaries and lacquered urns bursted with bright orange ranunculus and parrot tulips.

But with all these details, our favorite would still have to be the orange parrot tulips stole, contrasting perfectly against a billowing Vera Wang gown.
