Our team was honored with the invitation to visit Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. After attending a conference held there just 4 months previous, my creative juices were flowing with dreams of how a modern couple might celebrate in this iconic place…how they might pay homage to tradition while fulfilling their own dreams. So off we went, 3 carloads of people, china, linens and paint palettes, on our way to making some art happen in the nations largest private residence. But Biltmore is so much more than grand architecture. Biltmore is a caretaker of history of all kinds. Biltmore is a patron of the arts and you can feel this everywhere you stand on the property. We all felt in awe and at home.

So what do Biltmore Estate Wedding Invitations and Stationery look like from an artist’s perspective?  Tradition with a flood of personality; watercolor painting alongside traditional gilding; vintage inspired hoop art, rather than traditional paper place cards; and of course, an invitation crafted entirely of paper and millinery elements.
