Kristy’s parents celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary so of course, what a perfect opportunity to craft a festive and artful celebration.  Her parents are long time lovers of Country Music, the real variety…think Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.  So Kristy gathered her creative friends to put together an evening filled with old friends and new, music and tons of surprises.  She turned a swanky cafe into their Honky Tonk Anniversary Party!

Kristy’s passion for art-making was evident in every moment.  The highlight of the stationery suite was a custom illustrated place mat for each guest.  Whimsical illustrations were an emotional walk down memory lane, documenting, for example, her Mom’s love of Scrabble and her Dad’s love of gardening.

The anniversary invitations featured an illustrated frame reminiscent of a vintage whiskey label with her Mom’s signature flower, the Magnolia.  Menus were hand painted with a faux wood finish in shades of green
