Great Summer Favors for under $5!

We know that favors are often one of the last decisions made in the planning process.  Often it is a forgotten expense and causes frustration and worry. We have come up with several affordable and fun favor ideas.  The prices listed are approximate but include packaging, materials and custom designed tags.  The favor is your opportunity to thank your guests’ and give them something useful to remember your special day!  Have Fun!

Tea for Two  $5.00

This favor idea would be great for a shower or a garden wedding.  All you need is a mini flower pot, 2 tea bags of your choice, cookies and a great favor tag.   Arrange the items in the flower pot and wrap with clear cellophane.  Finish with your favor tag and a fun ribbon.  We used a wide grosgrain ribbon with fun stripes of color!

Wine Bottles $2.25

Choose a fruity light wine in small sizes available at your local spirit shop.  This favor is perfect for an elegant outdoor wedding.  Finish with a fun favor tag (1.5”w x 3.5”h looks great).  Tie with a bright grosgrain ribbon for a chic finish.   Choose champagne for a more elegant evening celebration.

Water Bottles $1.75

Perfect for a late summer wedding when the weather is hot and the humidity high.  Shown her is an affordable bottle of water wrapped with a custom label designed to coordinate with your color scheme and theme! 

Seed Packet with wrap  $1.50

Perfect for the late spring or early summer wedding.  Choose several seed packets to give your guests’ a bouquet to plant.  Packets can be wrapped with ribbon for a simple solution.  A custom belly band or wrap can be designed to include your names, wedding date and artwork.  Here the seed packet favor doubles as a seating card!

Quart of Fresh fruit. $4.00

Everyone loves fresh fruit and imagine your guests’ excitement when they have a quart to take home!  Strawberries are perfect in June, blueberries in July and of course, cherries in late summer.  Packaging is simple here…fruit looks great in natural baskets finished with a custom seal.

Jam $3.00 (if homemade)

This favor is especially delicious and affordable when homemade.  Maybe you have an aunt or grandmother who makes the best Jam and would love to help you out!  Pour jam into fun containers (find different containers to mix things up a bit) and finish with a fabric topper and custom label.  Now this is something you know everyone will use!
