An Artful Life – Our Holiday party photos

For those that follow my weekly posts you know that I hired a photographer friend Shane East to document our annual Holiday party this year. I have to say it was the best decision I made all year!! Shane arrived at our place despite the fresh foot of snow that had fallen just hours earlier. I was quite upset about the snow but as it turned out only 3 guests canceled and we still had a full house for what proved to be our most memorable party to date. The snowstorm really only added to the overall excitement and holiday cheer that was so evident all evening long.

Adam and I spent the days before Christmas assembling the perfect shots into frames to give to family and friends in the days to follow.

We asked our friend to dress as Santa and the kids were sooo excited. I love the shots that Shane captured of their faces through the front door – such genuine anticipation.

Every year I fill the house with loads of sweets and goodies – everything from Mrs. Prindables apples, petit fours to assorted chocolates and my homemade cookies.

This is my favorite photo of the evening.
As I say goodbye to another Holiday Season I do so with a warm heart and treasured memories. Adam and I are so blessed to have wonderful friends and families and a lovely home to share good times with. Hope you have enjoyed my Artful Life posts this season as I have so enjoyed sharing!

Check back in the weeks to come as I prepare for our trip to Ireland!
