Whenver Constance Curtis gets in touch with a new couple I know we’re in for a treat! This time around the couple was planning an eclectic California wedding filled with not only thoughtful but decidedly eclectic details. The standout was this incredible ceremony design centered around a dramatic tree with hanging floral elements. Aaron Young captured this shot below, one of my favorites.
Carissa of JL Designs is always innovating. These hanging pots tucked with sprigs of greens and blooms created quite the whimsical backdrop.
A lounge area crafted with pieces from Found Rentals seems quite enticing…I so want to be under that tent right now, lounging in that coral upholstery, gazing up at the twinkle lights and chandeliers… you?
Textured and sweet, the cake and dessert spread is yet another fabulous installation from The Sweet and Saucy Shop! The color story of this wedding is told in moments where the palette evolves. Coral and yellow don’t appear everywhere giving the eyes a chance to rest and adore other shades, like this jade wooden table and amber glassware.
An especially innovative aspect of the decor was this seating card display. Each guest searched for their scroll and tag tucked in round openings within the rustic wood structure. Finding your seat becomes an experience of discovery….love it.

Pretty blooms…
In addition to the seating cards, we had the honor of creating menus, table numbers and pretty signage throughout. Our rustic watercolor damask was inspired by the gorgeous place settings with hand painted touches in white and taupe, all against the softest blue cardstock. Divine.
