Surreal Wedding Inspiration on Style Me Pretty Part II – And the Bride Ate Cake

I’ve dedicated this week to featuring every detail from our Dali project recently seen on Style Me PrettyIf you missed the first post, have a look here. Desiree and Sara from Desiree Spinner Events jumped on board this project very early on and took the lead in producing a delectable sweets table.  My sketch below was only the beginning.

Desiree and Sara envisioned a dessert table to capture a moment of indulgence rather than a pristine, perfectly set scene…

The Madeline Gold linen from LaTavola acted as a rich backdrop.  Spun sugar balls, thick buttercream frosted cakes, white chocolate chunks and shimmering iced cookies all made our mouths water while being a true feast for the eyes. Lisa from Delicious Desserts certainly put her mark on this dessert spread.  The Momental Girls and I enjoyed the fruits of this labor for several days to follow!

Sofia Riesling bottles and Indian Tea Glasses just because… Truffles were pieced together to create a sculptural display of sweets.  As each pop is plucked for eating, the look changed!

Kaitlin really enjoyed her cake.

One of John’s favorite shots.  The glisten on each cookie and the bride’s subtle reflection are divine.

The shoes, ah the shoes.  I agonized over the proper shoe for this look.  Edgy was a must, drama came second and then these stunning camel leather stiletto lace-ups found their way to my heart.  Only wish I wore heels.

More on the stationery suite is coming later this week but I couldn’t resist showing our skinny programs all tied up with pretty silk ribbon.  Moya Minns’ stunning script echoed the sophisticated vibe I was after.

Still more to come!
