A breathe of fresh air for a Friday morning, brought to you by Ralph Waldo Emerson and Elizabeth Hardin of HardInk Calligraphy. It’s giving us a little spring fever while there’s still some snow on the ground here in Pennsylvania.

These rustic floral wedding invitations have it all… blush and coral peony patterns, textured cardstocks, torn edges, a sweet puppy… all topped with a soft custom crest wreath. We love the variety in the usage of the blooms. Sketchy and fading on the envelope liner, lavishly painted on the ensemble folder, and delicately blossoming on the wreath monogram. The couple featured their pup and hiking boots on the information card to add a touch of personality to the garden wedding invitation theme. Glittering gold foil, bright city lights, and hand painted fireworks light up the night sky in this impressionistic rehearsal dinner invitation. Hand painted textural dots and rhinestones give the stars dimension, above a subtle twinkling cityscape. We’ve been seeing many, many gorgeous rehearsal invitation concepts here in the studio lately, and this piece is no exception. What a fantastic use of foil printing too, it strikes a beautiful contrast against a dark background. I travel friends, a lot apparently and 2015 was quite possibly the tie breaker year for my globetrotting urges.  Combine a love to adventure on a moment’s notice with a looming book deadline calling me to find exotic locations to shoot in and write about and there you have it…my craziest travel schedule to date.  We began in early September and landed right smack dab in the middle of December (and with a babe in my arms nonetheless).  Montana, France, Switzerland, West Virginia and then Texas…Yup all in a matter of two months.
