Special projects for our favorite magazines are always the most fun.  When Leila at Be Inspired PR emailed and said the gals at Southern Weddings were interested in a painted backdrop…my heart stopped a bit!  How fun?! I enlisted the help of my invitation artist/creative assistant and all around talented gal Jess D…well actually Jess Z. (she’s the Momental Girl who just got married)… We painted away for the good part of two days – the finished piece was nearly 10 x10 feet!! One year we literally forgot to put away our mistletoe.  Amidst the insane amount of Christmas decor take-down, we just missed it and I’m so glad we did. I’ve got my blogging groove back.  Feeling rejuvenated and re-inspired after one of the most hectic Decembers I can recall!  I’ve been dying to share this painterly project designed exclusively for the readers of Southern Weddings Magazine.  I worked with Nicole and the SW Team to create a custom suite of painted paperie fit to inspire any southern detail loving couple… here an understated color palette mixed with gilded embellishments and detailed paintings reveals a sweet and soft collection of paper moments.
