Good friend Caroline of Paloma’s Nest has reason to celebrate!  Last week she opened doors to a brand new retail space and studio in the heart of an artful community within Austin, Texas!  Caroline asked me to create a piece to adorn the sweets table and I was thrilled.  As you  know my aesthetic is quite a bit more fussy than Caroline’s but I had such fun creating something I knew she would love but with my style subtly infused.  Unexpected Elements, event and floral design took the lead in crafting this perfectly Paloma’s Nest celebration! A few shots of […]

Today is all about the stationery from our Dali project!  Want to get caught up and lost in all the stunning shots from Sanderson Images?  Have a look here and then here! We began with a simple idea and asked Sofia from Brancoprata to create this inspiration board for us over at Style Circle.   This wedding shoot was meant to be pure art, all inspiration and light on reality.  Art for […]

If you missed my first Engage recap earlier this week, take a look here but now, onto the sketches!  This was my 6th Engage experience and if you have followed along over the years you know, that I take notes in sketches.  Armed with sketchbook, my trusted Sharpie pen and watercolor pencils, I embrace each session with my eyes and ears.  As the sessions evolve I am intently moving from sketch to written notes, back and forth to create a crazy collection of information that I refer to again and again long after Engage has passed.  I must thank the […]
