Just a quick peek at programs for Ali!  Ali has been with us since save the dates and is quite possibly the most decisive bride we’ve known!  Her look stayed focused and clean from day one.  There is definitely something to be said for a tiny bit of tunnel vision in wedding planning.  With so much inspiration out there it can become difficult to stay focused on your instincts.  When you do, like Ali, the results can be breathtaking!!  Have a look at how Ali’s design processed unfolded here and enjoy some close-up views of her pretty tri-fold painted programs! I picked up copies of Bridal Guide’s newest issue this weekend and am beyond thrilled to have our painted record table numbers featured on page 110!   Lately, I’ve been collecting vintage pieces and finding ways to work them into table decor, programs and even wedding invitations.  Our new Curated Collection is evidence of my flea market find experimentations! For this piece I simply hand wrote the table numbers with a brush and white ink.  Each bloom was drawn, free-hand in the same white ink and then filled with luscious shades of gold.  Simple, pretty and fun!   Big hugs […]

Kristyn’s invitation inspired so much about her wedding, even her marriage certificate.  I received a sweet email from Ann Martin a few months ago featuring these sweet images of a quilled marriage certificate.  Quickly I realized the design was inspired by our hand drawn chandelier!  Paper quilling is the art of using small strips of paper curled into pretty shapes.  The process is mind bogglingly tedious and requires tremendous patience and skill.     We love seeing our artwork translated into paper curls! A big thanks to Ann for sharing!  Calligraphy shown by Living Letters

Day two of our Tim Burton Inspired wedding and it is all about the details!  Dorian from Central Park Flowers in Olyphant, PA knocked it out of the park, sorry to be cheesy but no other way to say it.  Sprightly mosses, crimson roses and orchids galore all sculpted together in topsy-turvy elegance took my breath away.   Jessica’s invitations were a wow statement in color.  A hand illustrated Tim Burton style tree in silhouette was accented with our Lacy Leaves pattern all hand painted in purples.   Envelopments Mod pattern, oh yeah.   Big hugs to Jessica for being […]

Monday was a lovely day.  In addition to meeting all our Envelopments friends in person at The National Stationery show we received some very cool news x2!!  Two of our favorite weddings were featured in one day, the first of which I am sharing with you today!!  Jessica and Andrew came to us with two simple requests; to be creative and to get inspired by the one and only Tim Burton!  The scene was set at the intimate Bischwind Bed & Breakfast with Daniel Lanton getting lost in every juicy detail that Dorian and I created! Crimson roses, Picasso Callas, […]
