A Real Momental Wedding – Elizabeth and Isaac May 30, 2010 Part I

I figured we could all use a dose of spring right about now.  Elizabeth and Isaac’s wedding under the live oaks seemed the perfect fit.  I worked with Elizabeth and her Mom for several months to create various stationery elements for the day.  When Elizabeth’s photographer sent over the images I was immediately enchanted with all the dreaminess.  From the bride riding horseback into the ceremony to the swaying live oaks and simple blooms throughout, one could get lost in the beauty.  Not overdone or in your face, the details in this wedding were carefully chosen to suggest simplicity in a decidedly artful way.  The live oaks create a magical backdrop and feel more like watchful guests of the couple rather than just trees in the background.

I adore the neat and tidy bouquet tied simply with ribbon exposing the natural cut edges of each stem.    The morning was filled with rain showers which gave way to a shimmering, glistening afternoon of sunlight through the trees. I couldn’t love the tree swing more…

Bridesmaids all dolled up in a rich shade of fuchsia offered a wow pop of color throughout the day, as did the stationery we created for the day but more on that later…

The amazing team…
