Renewal in Zion – On the road
Well, we arrived and it has been a whirlwind trip so far. Many appointments have been scheduled and tomorrow should prove to be an insane day of traveling here and there to visit the Bit and Spur in addition to the talented ladies at By Bloomers. This time of year in Springdale, UT is difficult since it is the off season. Many businesses have very limited hours or are closed for the season altogether. Luckily those we have spoke to have that gracious Utah charm we have grown to love and are meeting us outside of their normal winter hours and we are so grateful.
Chili peppers and orchids-so excited to chat with the ladies at By Bloomers about this one!
I spoke to Trish, owner of the Bit and Spur yesterday hopeful to begin choosing our menu. The spring menu will not be finalized until mid March, but we are excited to see what new creations the chefs will vision and look forward to finalizing choices in a few weeks. In the meantime we are heading there to check out the space. More on that tomorrow.
Our celebration dinner will most likely take place here, in the Bit and Spur’s back garden. Who could ask for a more gorgeous backdrop? So I am curious to hear from those of you planning a destination wedding. Why did you choose your location…was it cost, special meaning or something else that drew you to the location?
