Press – Momental in Ceremony Magazine
Getting an email from Karen Tran about her next photo shoot project is always a thrill as it is guaranteed to be a exciting experience. Recently our newest Vintage Pattern, lacy leaves, was featured in this “Purple Reigns” shoot exclusively for Ceremony Magazine. The intricate, romantic quality of the pattern was a perfect contrast to the bold sequined, magenta loveliness Karen envisioned.
Here is a look at some photos taken before the pieces left the studio. An invitation was created for the look, just in case, but not captured for the shoot. A tiny round rhinestone buckle adorned the top third of the invite with the Lacy Leaves pressed into the lower third.
As you know, I cannot seem to get enough of shimmer finishes-not overdone, glittery, but subtle shimmer sheen. I love the look of sheer shimmer inks hand painted onto shimmering white cardstock. The effect is a glistening, crystalline finish that is light and airy while still dramatic and sophisticated.
A huge thanks to Karen for including me yet again! I cannot wait for some of our upcoming projects as I feel blessed to have such a creative kindred spirit.

Oh I do love the tree!!
I created two save the date versions for you to consider – I am partial to the waterfall version though! Your invitation makes me smile!

So excited by your newest sample! The patterned stock is that extra bit of detail the look needed!
Simple, clean and romantic – so happy you were inspired by Maddy’s designs! I experimented with another border combination for you as well!

We are so thrilled to see the accessory pieces come to life!
I went with a rich shimmering navy and shades of champagne and gold. The cross in this first sample has quite a presence but can be made smaller if needed. The scroll work elsewhere relates beautifully to the hand-painted detailing in the cross.

A Peek into the Studio – Blooms, Swirls and Vintage Lace
The studio is buzzing and we are working our tails off here! Jess has been helping me lately with the rush of samples recently and we love her gorgeous landscapes and venue illustrations! Early spring weddings are in full swing and bloom as you can see. Emily’s precious pink dogwoods with hand painted pink and pretty white dots are a studio favorite this week. Mary Lou’s stationery collection has inspired countless brides lately and this reception celebration invitation takes the cake. I love how the completely hand painted white roses just pop off the page!
Michele and Tom’s chose a summery palette of green and pink with a dragonfly fluttering through the Vintage Lace pattern. Amanda’s Versailles Swirls look sweet and sophisticated in their purple palette.
So what am I up to?
- Getting ready for the Eco Beautiful Launch Party next Tuesday where I finally get to meet Dana, The Broke Ass Bride!
- Just finishing up another stationery collection for a photoshoot with Daniela of Bella Signature Design this weekend. Our last project together made it on Style Me Pretty, did you see?
- Feeling completely blessed to be named one of the Top 100 Wedding Bloggers by Bride Tide. Thank you, Thank you!
- Packing the painting supplies for a trip next Saturday to one of my favorite places on earth. Oh yes, and while we are in Utah, we must make time for a bit of renewal planning.
